The new packaging of the Eco range by Tomelo was developed according to environmental guidelines, using recycled raw materials, and designed to bring out the values of this authentic, 100% natural product.
The Tomelo Project is based on the conservation of the indigenous and protected breed Burro de Miranda (Miranda donkey). This soap is made from fresh donkey milk from animals that graze freely on the marshes of the Portuguese north-eastern region of Trás-os-Montes.
The colours were carefully selected to match each of the six available scents of this range. A century-old print was chosen to illustrate the packaging. It depicts a donkey from this region. This animal stands both as a symbolic element and a link between Tomelo’s handcrafted products and the cultural and anthropological roots of this territory.
